Haniger (oblique) was activated from the 10-day disabled list Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
One of the standout performers through the first three weeks of the season, Haniger saw a potential breakout campaign interrupted by an oblique strain, which has kept him sidelined for the last month and a half. The outfielder was cleared to resume a rehab assignment at Triple-A Tacoma last week, and after going 6-for-18 with a home run over five games, the Mariners were satisfied enough with his health to bring him back on the active roster. Though the Mariners have yet to reveal their lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays, it's expected that Haniger will assume his usual spot in right field and slot into the heart of the order. Guillermo Heredia will likely be the biggest loser of playing time now that Haniger is healthy again.
