Hamilton (thumb) is back in the lineup, leading off against the Dodgers on Friday, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

He was out of the lineup Wednesday, and it late revealed that he has been playing through a nagging thumb issue that has negatively affected him at the plate over the past couple weeks. It is not clear if he is completely over the thumb issue, but at the very least it seems like it is something he can manage without needing a DL stint. Hamilton is hitting .152/.200/.152 with a 28.2 percent strikeout rate over his last 66 at-bats.
