Hamilton received a cortisone injection Thursday to reduce capsular inflammation in his left knee, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hamilton had reportedly been dealing with some knee soreness since undergoing what was deemed a minor knee procedure in October, but it's caused him more issues than expected. The veteran outfielder has now been pain-free for the past 36 hours, but it may be worth monitoring whether or not he has any limitations at the start of spring training that could indicate the issue isn't behind him.
