Hamilton is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Mariners, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports. Since Hamilton just returned Tuesday from a lengthy absence due to a shoulder injury, it appears manager Mike Scioscia just didn't want to use him back-to-back days right away. Collin Cowgill will cover left field for him Wednesday.
