Hague was claimed off waivers by the Blue Jays and promptly optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Monday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet reports. Recently designated for assignment by the Pirates, Hague belted 14 homers en route to a .267/.365/.448 line in 330 at-bats at Triple-A Indianapolis this season. He'll provide organizational depth at first base.
