Guyer has a "mild strain" in the area of his lat/oblique, according to manager Kevin Cash, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Tribune reports. The injury will likely keep Guyer down for only a few days, though the team is expected send him for an MRI to gauge the true extent of the issue. Steven Souza will get an opportunity in center field Saturday with Guyer out, as Desmond Jennings shifts over to left. Manager Kevin Cash said the team wants to get Jennings re-acclimated to his old position.
