Grossman is out of the lineup Thursday against the Rangers, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports. Shortstop Marwin Gonzalez will take over atop the order as Grossman sits for the first time since Aug. 7. Although he's batting just .215, Grossman is getting on base at a .330 clip, which may be enough to keep him in the leadoff spot for the time being.
