Grossman is hitting third Tuesday and should serve as the Twins' everyday left fielder over the rest of the season.
EDGE Analysis
Eddie Rosario (broken thumb) is done for the year, leaving Grossman and Logan Schafer as the only healthy left fielders on the active roster. Grossman has had his most productive offensive season of his big league career this year (.280/.387/.451), and while his .364 BABIP and 13 percent HR/FB are well above his career norms, it's possible that he made tangible improvements this year. After all, he turned 27 years old on Sept. 16 and had fewer than 200 big league games under his belt heading into the season.
