Gregorius hadn't previously tested out his shoulder at all in the two weeks since sustaining a shoulder strain in the World Baseball Classic, so it's an encouraging sign that he's now taking the first steps in the road to recovery. Still, the 27-year-old is expected to miss all of April, so expect Ronald Torreyes to continue filling in at shortstop for at least the opening month of the season.
