Gregorius is out of the lineup Thursday against the Nationals. The 24-year-old has started 10 of the Diamondbacks' last 11 games, but he'll head to the bench Thursday with lefty Gio Gonzalez on the hill for Washington. Cliff Pennington will take over at short in his absence. Gregorius is batting just .132/.207/.189 this month and his playing time will take a significant hit upon the eventual return of Chris Owings (shoulder).
