Gregerson was tagged with his fourth blown save Wednesday after allowing three runs on two hits and a hit batsman while recording just one out against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
He pegged Jean Segura, then gave up a run-scoring double to Michael Bourn and a two-run homer to Jake Lamb, erasing a 4-1 lead. The Astros went on to win in 11 anyway, but it's got to be a concern for Gregerson owners that his ERA has now popped over the 4.00 mark while his 13-for-17 record in save chances isn't that impressive. Ken Giles still hasn't quite put it together well enough to be threatening his job, but Gregerson can't count on that -- he needs to be more a consistent and reliable ninth-inning presence.
