After getting two quick outs, the right-handed veteran allowed a single and walk before managing to shut the door by getting a groundout. This sequence would be no big deal for most closers, but Gregerson has little room for error if he wants to keep his job. The Astros went out and acquired Ken Giles from Philadelphia in the offseason to shore up the back of the bullpen, and it seems inevitable that Giles will eventually assume the closers' job while Gregerson would be given the set-up role.
