Gregerson has lost the movement of his sinker and is trying to re-establish it, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gregerson had two poor outings last week which manager A.J. Hinch chalked up to poor command. Having the right-handed setup man work on his sinker the last few days explains why we haven't seen him on the mound since May 4. There have been at least two situations in the last three games calling out for Gregerson, who needs his sinker to be effective as his 90 mph fastball doesn't dazzle opposing batters. He said it's something that has effected him in the past, typically in late May or early June, and he feels it's occurring earlier this year because of his participation in the World Baseball Classic.
