Gregerson (bereavement) was activated off the family medical emergency list Friday.

Gregerson returns to the Astros bullpen in time for the start of their series against the Reds. Prior to being placed on the family medical emergency list, Gregerson had struggled mightily and lost his hold on the closer's role. There is an open competition between Gregerson and Will Harris for the closer's role, so that may continue to be an unsettled situation for the time being. Tyler White was optioned to Triple-A Fresno in a corresponding move Friday with Gregerson returning to the team.
