Gregerson (7-3)took the loss on Saturday, surrendering two hits and two earned runs in one inning in a 3-2 defeat to the Twins. He also struck out a batter.
EDGE Analysis
Gregerson began his night by giving up a single to Brian Dozier and hitting Trevor Plouffe two batters later, setting the stage for a two RBI-triple by Eddie Rosario that went off the glove of George Springer. The two earned runs he yielded Saturday were the first surrendered by the veteran reliever since an Aug. 9 blown save against the A's, and he is expected to remain the Astros closer for the remainder of the season.
