Gosewisch was promoted to the big league team in a corresponding move as Rickie Weeks was placed on the Bereavement List on Thursday.The 32-year-old catcher was hitting .342/.399/.553 with nine home runs and 26 RBI for Reno in 58 games this season. Gosewisch could make his first appearance at the major league level this season in the next couple days while serving as the third catcher on the Diamondbacks depth chart behind Welington Castillo and Chris Herrmann.
