Gosewisch is out of the Diamondbacks' lineup Wednesday against the Giants. Gerald Laird will step in for his Diamondbacks debut, pushing Gosewisch to the bench after two straight starts. Gosewisch put together a .336/.378/.445 batting line in Cactus League play (45 at-bats) and has singled twice in eight at-bats so far this season, but his offensive upside is among the lowest of any starting catcher.
