Gordon suffered a right wrist sprain when he collided with Mike Moustakas in Sunday's game against the White Sox and while it was initially reported that he'd be day-to-day, the Royals have now said that he will head to the DL. Third basemen, Cheslor Cuthbert, will be called up in a corresponding roster move while Gordon nurses his wrist.
