Gordon, who was lifted from Friday's game due to tightness in his right groin, was pulled as a precautionary measure, MLB.com's Jeffrey Flanagan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon appeared to suffer the injury lunging for a line drive that was hit over his head in the top of the seventh inning. The fact that the club mentioned the outfielder's removal was precautionary suggests he won't be out long. Gordon is day-to-day as of now, but it wouldn't be a surprise -- especially considering how awful he's played -- if the club uses this opportunity to give him a weekend to catch his breath.
