Gordon is out of the lineup Friday against the Giants, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports. The Marlins have not given a specific reason for Gordon absence, but Gordon was limping a bit after stretching to touch home plate in the ninth inning of Thursday's game. Donovan Solano will step in at second base Friday as Christian Yelich takes over atop the order.
