Gordon hit his first home run of the season, a three-run inside-the-parker off Ryan Vogelsong in Tuesday's game against the Giants. It took just one mishandle by the Giants outfield for Gordon to stretch a clear triple to the right field gap into his first homer in 708 plate appearances. It was a total bizarro game for Gordon, who went hitless in his other four at-bats. His .351 average still leads the major leagues, but Paul Goldschmidt (.350) is nipping at his heels.
