Gordon had a monster night at the dish Thursday, going 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and three stolen bases. Gordon abused the opposing battery of Michael Lorenzen and Tucker Barnhart (though he was caught once as well) to push his stolen base total to 33 as he trails on Billy Hamilton in the category. The speedy second baseman has slumped a bit at the dish of late and has seen his average from 34 points down to .336 since the start of June. Still, he's swiped six bags in his past six games and remains a constant threat on the base paths.
