Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk in Sunday's 10-3 loss to the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
The slugging outfielder was one of the few bright spots on the afternoon for the Rockies, going deep off reliever Hector Neris with a mammoth 475-foot blast in the eighth. Unfortunately, the homer came after Colorado was already on the wrong end of a 10-2 deficit. However, it was Gonzalez's first homer in 10 July games after closing out June with three round-trippers over the month's final four contests.
