Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two walks during Sunday's win over Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a discouraging start for the 31-year-old veteran. Gonzalez sports a .221/.300/.342 slash line with just three home runs, 13 RBI and 19 runs, which is a significant drop from the numbers the fantasy stalwart has produced in the past. Coors Field should help him climb out of his year-long funk, but it also isn't out of the question that Gonzalez is past his prime. He's had a lot of wear and tear on his body with numerous stints on the disabled list over the years, too.
