Gonzalez went 1-for-2 with two walks in Monday's win over the Diamondbacks. Since being held out of the lineup for last Thursday's series finale against the Giants, Gonzalez has finally begun to show some semblance of life after a dreaful start to the season. He's put together a three-game hitting streak, notching his second homer of the season in the process while scoring two runs. Manager Walt Weiss continues to deploy Gonzalez in the sixth spot in the order, however, an arrangement that figures to hold so long as Justin Morneau and Nolan Arenado continue to remain effective in the four and five slots, respectively.
