Gonzalez was stellar in Saturday's win over the Mets, picking up the win with seven scoreless innings and nine strikeouts. There's a reason the Nationals put up with Gonzalez's near-maddening inconsistency and Saturday was a prime display. Gonzalez currently sits at a mediocre 3.86 ERA, but his FIP (2.91) FIP and BABIP (.391 against a career .290) mean he's probably got some more upside coming.
