Gonzalez forced the Yankees into a decision by exercising his right to opt out Saturday, and the team elected to let him go. The Yankees are happy with their depth options in Jonathan Loaisiga and Luis Cessa, but Gonzalez should still have a decent chance to find work on the back of his 4.21 ERA from last season.
