Gonzalez scattered four hits over seven scoreless innings to record a no-decision against Arizona on Thursday. He issued three walks and struck out six. Gonzalez was relatively dominant Thursday, as he allowed just four singles. He's had a bunch of short outings in the last four weeks, so this was easily his best start in about a month, although he still hasn't won a game since July 5. Despite the nice performance Thursday, it's hard to trust Gonzalez, given his inconsistent season. On a positive note, Gonzalez continues to help out fantasy owners in the strikeout department, with 127 Ks in 120 innings this season. With an off day next week for the Nationals, Gonzalez will miss out on two starts, and will instead just have one turn at Philadelphia.
