Gonzalez (knee) will visit a specialist Wednesday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports. With Gonzalez's knee tendinitis flaring up again last week, the Rockies decided to shut the 28-year-old down and they will send him to a specialist Wednesday to get a better grip on the severity of the issue. Gonzalez and the specialist are expected to discuss treatment options, and if the two sides settle on the course of action, a timetable for his return may then be established.
