With Carlos Correa (hand) coming off the disabled list to start at shortstop Sunday, Gonzalez will be granted a day off after playing in both halves of Saturday's doubleheader, going 4-for-9 with two doubles, two runs and three RBI. Correa and Alex Bregman should settle in as the Astros' primary players on the left side of the infield over the final month of the season, but since Gonzalez has been one of the team's top offensive producers this season, he's at little risk of losing out on everyday at-bats. Instead, expect Gonzalez to see more of his duties in the corner outfield or at first base in the coming weeks.
