Gonzalez is out of the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cubs, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.

Gonzalez is 6-for-14 lifetime against Cubs Game 2 starter John Lackey, but it seems manager Bud Black doesn't want to push his luck with Gonzalez's health. The 31-year-old Gonzalez did, after all, miss a couple starts last week with right calf tightness. Gerardo Parra will start in right field.
