With the Rockies facing a lefty on Sunday, manager Walt Weiss decided to give Gonzalez's recently injured ankle a rest. It wouldn't be surprising if the Rockies took it slightly easy with Gonzalez over the next week or so, but for now, consider him good to go. He went 2-for-5 with a double Saturday, his first full game in return from the injury.
