Gonzalez gave up four runs on seven hits and two walks over 5.1 innings in a no-decision Saturday. He struck out six. He was actually pitching well through five innings, but after Gonzalez was hit by a pitch while batting for the second time in the game in the top of the sixth, he ran into trouble when it was his turn on the mound. It's the third time in four starts that he's given up four or more runs, bumping his ERA to 4.73 on the season, but his solid 56:21 K:BB ratio in 59 innings suggests he should turn things around. His next outing comes on Thursday, at home to the Cubs.
