Goldschmidt had another monster day against Milwaukee on Sunday, going 3-for-4 with a home run and four walks, three of which were intentional, in the 17-inning marathon. A day after Goldschmidt hit two home runs, and started the scoring in this one with a home run in the first inning, the Brewers tried to limit the damage he could as the game wore on - all four of Goldschmidt's walks came after the eighth inning. This was also Goldschmidt's third straight three-hit day as he put up video game numbers against Milwaukee pitching in this series, going 9-for-15, with three home runs, three doubles, five RBI, and five runs scored.
