Goforth was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Friday. Goforth and Tyler Cravy will join the bullpen, with IF Jason Rogers and relief pitcher Corey Knebel getting demoted. Goforth has a 2.93 ERA over 30.2 innings for Triple-A Colorado Springs this season, but his strikeout rate (17.6 percent) and walk rate (12.2 percent) are both highly discouraging.
