Goforth was optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Sunday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Goforth missed out on a bullpen spot with the Brewers after a poor spring in which he posted a 5.73 ERA over 11 innings. The right-hander did compile a 10:1 K:BB ratio over that same span, however, so it wasn't all bad. If he excels in the early going at Triple-A, he could be among the team's first call-ups of the season.
