EDGE Analysis
Hernandez led off the bottom of the first inning with a game-tying homer. The second baseman has a career-high 17 long balls this season, including five in 19 July games. He's added a .227/.303/.419 slash line with 44 RBI and 59 runs scored. The 31-year-old has mainly served as the leadoff hitter this season, but Bradley Zimmer has recently seen time atop the order as well.
