Goeddel will be on the bench for the seventh time in the last eight games. Even though manager Pete Mackanin said that it is still a priority for him to play Goeddel as much as possible, he is losing time to Cody Asche and Jimmy Paredes, as each will be in corner outfield spots for Saturday's game. Goeddel is hitting .234 with three home runs and 11 RBI in 128 at-bats on the year, but the 23-year-old is only 5-for-30 in the month of June.
