Goebbert, who hit sixth in the order, figures to get more opportunities now that Yonder Alonso (forearm) has been ruled out for the rest of the season, though Tommy Medica will also be in the mix for starts at first. Goebbert is slashing .276/.354/.431 in 27 games (58 at-bats) this season.
