GM Sandy Alderson said on Friday that Wright (back) is progressing but he as yet to resume baseball activities. The Mets believed that the All-Star break was feasible for Wright to return, but that looks to be a pipe dream. Until he begins baseball activity and then is able to start a rehab assignment, we will have no true idea as to when he could rejoin the Mets.
