Gio Gonzalez was brilliant again Tuesday, tossing seven shutout innings on just two hits and two walks while striking out eight in a 1-0 win over the Astros. The Astros got a runner to third base in the sixth, but it was the only time they got someone past first base all night. The pitcher's duel between Gonzalez and Wandy Rodriguez was completed in just two hours and 12 minutes. Gonzalez's bullpen kept him from a win the last time out, but he now boasts a 2.04 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 21/5 K/BB ratio over his first 17 2/3 innings as a Nat. He'll get the Marlins on Sunday.
