Gio Gonzalez tossed just his second career complete game in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Astros, scattering nine hits and two walks while striking out seven. He also launched his first career home run, a two-run shot off Armando Galarraga in the second. Gonzalez has looked much more like the good pitcher he was for the A's the past two months than the absolutely dominant one he was for the Nationals in April and May, but is still sporting an excellent 3.32 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 154/54 K/BB ratio through 141 frames. He'll get the Giants in San Francisco on Monday.
