Gio Gonzalez struck out 11 and permitted just two runs and two hits over seven innings in Wednesday's 6-2 extra-innings win over the Phillies. Gonzalez yielded hits to Ben Revere (single) and Michael Young (homer) to start off the game, and that was it. He was in line for a loss but wound up with a no-decision after his teammates rallied in the ninth and won it in the 11th. Gonzalez boasts a 2.26 ERA since the beginning of May and has struck out 93 over 91 2/3 frames this season. He'll take on the D'Backs at home next.
