Gio Gonzalez struck out 10 Marlins on Friday, but allowed four runs on nine hits over eight innings in a losing effort. Gonzalez was cruising along until the sixth inning, where the Carlos Lee delivered a two-run single, then scored on an RBI single from Donovan Solano. Lee struck again, driving home Jose Reyes with an RBI bounce out in the eighth inning. He has been very shaky in five starts since the All-Star break, compiling a 1-3 record and 4.75 ERA. He'll attempt to right the ship when he battles the Astros in Houston on Thursday.
