Gio Gonzalez pitched well in a losing effort against the Marlins on Saturday, allowing two runs in six innings Gonzalez walked none and punched out nine, picking up right where he left off in the first half of the season. Through 18 starts with the Nationals, he is now 12-4 with a 2.93 ERA and 127/42 K/BB ratio in 107 2/3 innings. The lefty will attempt to keep the ball rolling when he squares off against the Mets at home on Thursday.
