The Milwaukee Brewers are placing starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez (arm) on the 10-day injured list on Saturday with what manager Craig Counsell described as a case of dead arm. Catcher Manny Pina (hamstring) was activated from the injured list in a corresponding move.
