Gio Gonzalez fell to 6-5, allowing four runs (three earned) over 6 2/3 innings in Thursday's loss against the Orioles. Gonzalez entered the start having pitched 22 consecutive scoreless innings, but Steve Pearce put an end to that quickly, blasting a solo home run in the first inning. The O's later rallied for three runs in the third inning, all with two outs. Overall, Gonzalez allowed six hits, walked three, and struck out seven. The lefty will go into the All-Star break with a 3.56 ERA, a 1.21 WHIP, and a 85/33 K/BB ratio.
