Gibson was handed his sixth loss of the season Sunday as he allowed two runs on six hits and three walks in five innings against the Cubs. The 27-year-old skated around a number of baserunners in his solid performance but had no chance to earn a win thanks to a dominant Jake Arrieta performance and a Twins bullpen implosion in what turned out to be a 8-0 loss. Gibson still holds a tidy 3.35 ERA through 86 innings and will face the struggling Brewers on Saturday.
