Gibson (6-9) pitched eight innings, allowing just one run on five hits and three walks while striking out four Tigers in Tuesday's win.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson allowed a run in the bottom of the first before stringing together seven scoreless frames en route to his first win since mid-August. The 28-year-old has been wildly inconsistent in the second half of the season, making Gibson a difficult play under any format. His six wins and 5.08 ERA through 131 innings are Gibson's worst marks for any of his three seasons with 20-plus starts. He'll go for back-to-back wins when he toes the rubber Sunday against the Mets.
