Giants signed RHP Tim Hudson to a two-year, $23 million contract. The deal was first reported by Jon Heyman of CBS Sports earlier Monday, and it has now become official. The 38-year-old right-hander posted a 3.97 ERA and 1.19 WHIP across 131 1/3 innings this past season for the Braves before undergoing surgery to repair a broken ankle. Hudson will be 100 percent for spring training and should provide steady innings for the Giants the next two years.
